GRM-015
Hard constraint
layer: clause
Reflexive pronoun requires local antecedent
IF a reflexive pronoun lacks a compatible local antecedent, THEN replace it with the correct personal pronoun or supply the antecedent ELSE retain.
Why the rule exists
Reflexives normally refer back to a local participant in the same clause.
Condition
The rule fires when this evaluates true. Paths marked below must be present in the fact base; the engine reports the rest rather than guessing them.
- ALL
- pronoun.type eq "reflexive"
- pronoun.compatible_local_antecedent eq false
